About

My name is Jessica Easto, and I am a writer and editor based in Chicago, Illinois. I have a bachelor's degree in journalism and an MFA in fiction writing. I’ve published short fiction, and I’m working on a novel. I’ve worked on literary magazines, taught writing at the college level, and developed content for marketing agencies and businesses. Most recently, I spent several years in-house at an independent trade publisher as an acquisitions editor and manuscript editor, and I’ve taught copyediting at DePaul University. I'm also a coffee expert. I dabble in online coffee writing, and my critically acclaimed book, Craft Coffee: A Manual, was published in 2017. Learn more about the book here.
